This is a very small gauge yarn coming in at much smaller than lace or comparable to thread. We refer to it as a cob-web lace.
Perfect for high detail applications in knitting and popularly used to make wedding ring shawls because of its fine-ness. Because it is 100% Silk it can also be used in weaving at around 100 ends per inch for super fine detail weaving. This yarn is also and excellent wrapping yarn for hand spinners.
